Default Dyno # of my Skunk2 Pro1 cams Using Neptune

So i went to titan motorsports today and met up with darin to get my pro1 cams tuned.I only had it tuned for an hour since funds are low so here is my mod list
00b18c1
ebay intake
jdm 4-1 header
tanabe exhaust
jdm ITR pistons stock bore
Skunk2 IM
Skunk2 pro1 cams
Omnipower valvesprings & retainers
jun cam gears 0,0

The beater

Dyno numbers after 3 or 4 pulls

Thanks to Darin and neptune i think my numbers came out pretty good for only an hour of tuning. and my cam gears are still at 0,0 i think it still has more potential with some more dyno time.

Ps. After some of the pulls the car would idle funny darin thought that it might be my valve lash which is at 7 and 8 does anyone have an opinion on this?

lol no VTEC spike

torque seems low. I made 130 with B16A2 cams.

what compression is all this at?

Definitely has more potential if the cam gears are still 0,0... Good stuff...

Nice! I'm really glad you posted this. It's the same setup that I am about to build except .25 over on the pistons. I'm hoping that a good valve job and a different header will cross me past the 200 mark. Did you do anything to the head? I may go with flat faced valves too after seeing this. Post up after you get those cam gears dialed in.

Those bigger primaries do make the transition over to the big lobes smooth apparently. How's it drive? Any pro's or cons you'd like to point out on those cams? They looked really good on the other dyno I saw posted up but it was a pretty aggressively modded engine. I had been hoping to see one with a more OEM setup and Pro 1's Thanks again.

nice man i was waiting for someone to finally have these babies and dyno them. from the power you laid down i think thats a good foundation with more room to go.

i basically have 12.8:1 compression, mild port and itbs so im hoping to have 10+ hp over ya. just waiting for my ems to tune.

Nice, looks like the tuners have a good time using neptune. So all you have is a obd-1 socketed ecu for the neptune, you don't have a datalogging port or something for them to extract data. Is it just a chip and wideband dyno tuning?
Great numbers by the way.

Nice numbers

Damn I'm going to be running a very similar set-up (is there an echo in here???)I'm running the Pro 1's, SRP .5mm OS 11:1's with some Omni flat valves and springs, to put me at around 11.5-11.7:1, Hondata, and a ported B16 mani. on a milded ported GS-R head (I know the B16 mani doesn't fit a C1 head, but I fabbed it to fit), a AEM SRI, and some cheap 4-2-1 header, and a 2-3/8 exhuast...

I think the I'll be a little shy of your numbers after tuning (b/c of the header and smallish exh), but if I'm 190+ I'll be happy, but this gives me a good idea on how it will run

Again, nice numbers,
Adrian

The crossover to vtec does not seem that extreme becaue of the size of the primary lobes. The pros are that my motor feels bigger becaue of the wider power band and the horsepower is good. Cons arer the idle is a little rough and tuning them. But damn is my car a lot louder now that i have these cams
