I went to work at 9:45am this morning and around 2:00pm, it was my lunch break, I was going to my car to get my lunch and when i g0t there.... my crx wasn't there.!!!!! Another car was parked on the spot where i parked. I'm thinking WTF is going on!!!! The last thing i wanna think was that it g0t stolen. I went back inside and told my boss. You won't believe this. My car is missing. . . NO broken windows, no nothing left on the ground. The car is just gone. Doors was lock. dang.

This really sucks. Being it's my first car being stolen. First car i had. I love the crx. I even manage to do 2 engine swap to it. I just hate thiefs. . . Fucken bitches.

If anyone sees it around sacramento, or North Ca. Please let me know. Here's a picture of how it looks like.






The car has a black hood and white body with black stock moldings.
It's on 2 donuts on the front and LS mesh rims on the back. I took out the passenger seat so there's only ONE SEAT.

My roomate had his crx stolen about 3 weeks ago in Roseville.

 

called 911 and they pissed me off. For a girL, i would think that they'll be nicer but damn they acted like *** holes. I paid taxes for that ****. I don't deserve crappy *** service having to call over 20 times just to get a hold of a dispatch.... just really pissed and feeling down.

 

That's ******* gay. We should form some sort of vigilante **** to kill thieves.

It's like u gotta have locking hood pins and detchable steering wheel a pedal club and bullet proof windows now adayz ****. gl finding her again. Hopefully she'll turn up. Not to be mean or anything, but I doubt it'll turn up again. See how much you get from insurance and then consider buying something else.

brake, clutch and wheel locks

2 layer alarm system, at least one a 2-way pager w/ diode isolated battery backup.

battery relocated inside the cabin of the vehicle.

unhook the trunk release from the handle by the drives seat.

sedan rear door handles with no exterior locks.

always make sure the windows are rolled ALL THE WAY UP. like until your hand hurts, so they cant force the windows down.

actuated metal dowels to keep the doors forced shut.

kill switches out the ***.

take the ecu in at nite.

park in the driveway and bury the car behind something else 99+ or newer so it has transponder based immoblizer. (chip in the key)

parking closer to your house should be in range for a mounted motion sensor light.

good relations with you neighbors.

a nasty bulldog and a ******* glock.

cant do much more then that.

Bring the driver's seat in at night

 

the seats not going to stop them.

another thing you can do is fill all the fuses on the fuse panel so theres no empty spots, memorize the locations and remove the chart.

then take the alternator fuse and put a 1 amp in there, so even if they do get it hot wired it will blow that fuse and add an hour of tourbleshooting to the theft.

for any of you guys that did a lot of custom wiring you could hide the underhood fuse panel, and make it removable as well, or just remove certain fuses from there as well.

and i realize you cant do those things at a mall parking lot, or a baseball game, but im just trying to give you guys some ideas to beef up the security on your own cars.

Dang, sorry to hear about your car getting stolen Melissa. I'm guessing that the Russian mafia may have stolen your car, since they are active up in Sacramento.

I'm willing to bet that they took it with a towtruck or copied key. The car will probably turn up in an abandoned lot somewhere but with panels, and interior trim and stuff missing. The cops will notify you that the car was found and then more then likely it will end up in a salvage yard. The mafia guys can track the car because they'll know the VIN then they buy the chassis from the salvage yard it ends up at. They take it back to their shop where they install the trim pieces and all the misc stuff they took off of it. Then they turn around and sell it overseas or somewhere stateside after changing it from a salvage/theft title back to a regular title.

I did some reading up on the Russian mafia car theft rings in Sac and that's sorta how they operate.

hmm, interesting idea. wire in a switch or even a DIP switch type deal to the fuse box.

it was a joke, but she is the only hot girl ive seen on HT, so props to her and i hope she gets her rex back

 

I learn it the hard way. It was kinda my fault too. The front carpet is tripped. I could of took out the ECU but i wasn't thinking. I miss my crx.!! When i got the car it looked " WHITE" everything was white. I had to sit in the garage and repaint the moldings back to black. I even did the bumper too! at times, i g0t high off them paints.. couldn't remember much. n0w it's g0ne!
