Default Painted Side Moldings

Had some nice weather for once, so I decided to take off my sidemoldings, front lip, and rockers(?) to paint them with Duplicolor Trim Paint....worked really well and I am impressed with the results.

BEFORE: (Shitty Faded Moldings)

DURING:

-Had to take the whole interior out to reach the clips for the moldings.

AFTER: Looks alot better

side mouldings are much improved!

on the side note, i dont know if it is the same thing for 92-95 civics, but for the 96-00 gen, you can turn the side moulding clips 90 degrees and they will come out. this is in regards to you having to take off the door panel to pop the clips. just a tip for the future

Nice outcome. I may have to try this on my Si lip later on if I'm not gonna paint-match it with my car.

Looks really clean... What kinda prep work did you have to do? Just clean it off or any sanding/primering necessary?

I just wiped all the dirt off of it and then painted it.
