mine are the freestyle ingenuity ones, they stick out pretty far and have replaceable plastic ends w/ the base being of metal... i figure if i'm drilling holes in my plastics i might as well get some sliders that protected as much as possible. well you can kick out my kick stand and watch my bike fall to the ground ... my engine case will be 1/2" off the ground ... if it falls on the exhaust side the edge tip where the pipe is welded to the can touches, but barely, and again, NOTHING else touches. it's awesome, saved me SOO much $$.

only problem with the slider is that you need to cut a hole in the plastic to get to the motor which they mount into... and in some cases they can get stipped out of the motor on impact and mess some stuff up... they also make sliders that go around the plastic and into the mount but those ones are junk...

i dont like them at all... cause who wants to cut a hole in their plastics???... but its up to you.. there are many goods ones out there... but depends on what bike you got...

but again.. could be good to protect... could also be bad depending on all of it.. and if you put slider on it... be smart and get the sliders for the swingarm as well...

i watched a frame slider save an 02' telefinica 2 days ago... at 2mph cause the front brake locked up...

saved him about 300 bucks worth of plastic

the only downside is in the f4i and f4 you have to drill

All the more reason to ride a naked bike.
Installation for me took 5 minutes. Mount bolt out, slider in.

Yo bryan01, what kind of sliders are those and where can you get those from? I'm looking into longer-than-normal sliders like urs too. How much they cost?

...and the sliders that advertise "no cutting" use the same mounting bolt and relocates the slider with a bracket.
Guess what shears off as soon as it touches down?

As long as you cut carefully, the funtionality outweighs the initial stress of cutting nice fairings.

they're from freestyle ingenuity, look on stuntlife.com, i'm sure there's a link to them there, to the freestyle site i mean ... they cost about 100$, sometimes u can find sales for 10$ off or something ... but they're WELL worth it, the other sliders are really short, these are long as hell and well made

I have sliders but since I didn't have to cut any plastic posting pics is kinda useless.
