I just bought my wife an 04' SI. She loves the car, I love the seats!!! I would be willing to buy these seats. Will they fit in my hatch? (without major modification?) Has anyone done this? TIA

 

i believe that they will fit my buddy has them in his EF hatch

i thought he said he needed special brakets though

and they sat a little high i think.. i dont remember.

but they fit!!

 

they will fit, takes a while playing with them to get them to sit in there...but yes they sit HIGH

 

you have to put your eg sliders on the ep3's and they fit... they sit about 2 inches higher.. maybe inch and a half....and if you have manual windows its a pain...not enuff clearance to make a full rotation...my boy put em in his eg...phat seats but... but didn't like how they sit... anyone have S2K seats in a eg/EJ...coupe??

 

I had them in my eg hatch. you can do a search for it. my old name was eg6tutrb0. I bought them from someone who had brackets custom welded on the rails. cost him $60 he said. well they sat too tall for me in my car so i got rid of them. I got sols in there now and love them. Im not crazy about sitting high up. Ur best bet is find someone to weld brackts on or somethin. im not sure if you can just swap the rails. im assuming so, just more work than i wanted to do. goodluck ya like dude said above they are big seats. stick out alot further and everything. they are nice seats just to big for eg i think. atleast in my hatch it was. i think i gota pic on the thead too

 

yeah I have heard they sit really high, they sit well in the Si, but in an eg, they are really high. I have a set of 94 prelude seats in my eg coupe, and they are awesome. I just need to have them covered in black fabric. I have black interior, and the seats are blue. they fit without much modification. 3 of the holes fit perfect, but I had to weld a bracket on one of the holes and drill a hole through the bracket where the holes would line up, so nothing major.
