Default SKUNK2 INTAKE MANIFOLD ON A 99 PRELUDE

can anyone help me on this.. i got my skunk2 intake mani on my car.. i know my stock manifold has dual butterflies.. and now this skunk2 manifold has only a single.. after 30 minutes of harsh/normal driving.. engine check light goes on.. i forget.. i think it's the EGR? or something is not hooked up becuz the manifold doesn't have a spot for it to hook up.. my car runs fine.. but i'm just tripping out cuz of the check engine light.. doesn't this mean it's on limp mode.. etc etc.. is my car running more rich? have i answered my own question already? haha is there n/e thing i can do to bypass the check light? cuz that yellow light gets annoying.. anyone help?!?!

o yeah.. i have an obd 2 stock ecu running vafc piggyback.. be4 i got the manifold.. i ran okay.. check engine light came on.. i hooked up the VTM line and no more engine check light.. was hoping that the light wouldn't come on wen i installed my manifold.. but guess i was wrong anyone know of a bypass or a work around so the engine check will turn off??

The yellow light isn't just annoying, IIRC its throwing you into limp mode, which must be a ton of fun to drive in. Figure out what code it is for sure, then we'll figure out what's wrong.

The check engine light is on because you no longer have a functioning EGR. The ECU will not go into 'limp mode' for this particular ECU code. Your car will run normally, other than having the check engine light on for the EGR issue.

I see you are in California. You will not pass a smog check with that manifold, just FYI.

Just for clarity - when are smog tests performed? Is it just out in Cali?
