I seen one in an old mag from Korea...it was fucken nice...The rear seats in a 4dr are a hell of alot nice than ones on 2drs...that plastic thing in the middle is just outta place..

yeah once again to sum it all up:
DC2= 2DR Coupe chassis, VTEC equipped
DC4= 2DR Coupe chassis, NON-VTEC equipped
DB8= 4DR Sedan chassis, VTEC equipped
DB7= 4DR Sedan chassis, NON-VTEC equipped
i have a DC4 chassis, but since i'm Ls/Vtec, i don't kno what the hell you call that.
i guess you could call it a DC2, but then my VIN dictates otherwise.
here's a pic of a black one i got off of a google image search of a "4dr itr". i was surprised that the pic was linked of and archived H-T post.

The jdm 2 door did not have the plastic piece in the middle of the rear seats. IMHO the type r should of never been made in a 4 door, unless it had more power.... a type r is about all on race.... not an all on race family car... I know you h-t'ers can agree with me, after all that extra door does add a little weight, but still a little weight to a type r is a disgrace

I think DC2's have a stronger chassis and are welded at more locations.

i thought the 4dr type Rs actualy handle a lil better because the trunk is a lot stiffer and has much better support than a hatch. Is this true?

I wouldnt imagine it would handle better ... it weighs more and it is a little longer.... it just does not seem right to have a car like that with 4 doors... Just no reason for the extra doors on a track

Sure as hell feels better than a coupe IMO. I've owned both a dc2 and db8 and there's something about the sedan that feels sturdier and more stronger. C'mon now, 100 lbs isn't much to deal with. It's not really enough weight to cry over. Really just my opinion. I love the Integra all together, but prefer a DB8 if I had a choice.
