DSM injectors on 92 Integra.... wiring complexity ?
Well my buddy is turbocharging his DA. He's going to be running uberdata with dsm 390cc injectors. I just wanted to know what I had to do for the injectors install.
Since his car is a 92 = OBD1 injectors plugs but still are peak/hold so his car already comes with a resistor box like the EF do.
What will i need to do as in wiring?
Any links or info would greatly be apperciated.
TIA

Well, in my ef, I did nothing in terms of wiring the injectors. I just plugged them in and that's it. Use the Uberdata and make sure the injectors sealed fine to the manifold and your good. You might need to dremel the insides of the seals to make them fit good. Good luck.
I think you have it mixed around. The ODB1 Integra's don't come with the resistor boxes, only the ODB0 ones do. You just have to soldering the wires into the resistor box and plug and play basically. I'll have to see if I can find that wiring diagram again.

yea your buddies 92 integra is still OBD1 even though its a G2 model.. and he will still need to wire in a resistor box to the engine harness once he does that then throwing in those DSM injectors should be no problem.. but im sure you already know you will need something to cut the fuel back such afc or other fuel controller.. good luck

ohh got it, thanks man

so clip the harness wires that go to the injectors, connect the wires from the harness to the resistor box, then from the resistor to the injectors, then the injectors to the wires back to the ecu? sounds easy enough..
for Charlie.. thanks bro..

so im just going to follow the wires from the clips down the harness as far as they go and mount my box somewhere hidden so it will look clean. is there a good spot to mount this and then tap into the harness further away from the clips? i dont want to mount the box to my strut bar
i am having all sorts of issurs concerning my DSM INJECTORS i installed a few days ago...im sure i did everything correct but i will double check in about a hour or so...i even cut ALL the tape covering the wires and followed them all the way back to the box where i cut em and soldered accordingly to every diagram i ever read...but when i checked to see if the injectors were spraying...only 1 of 4 was working...this is by far not enough fuel to run my t3/t4...just a question...what is the point of mounting the resistor box...is it for stability* or does it serve as some type of GROUND*? if i have continuityleading from the solder spots back to the injectors....why might i only have 1 injector spraying ?...-swift
aww....so the resistor box itself is the ground unit....like hellz yea (j/k) so i mounted it to the frame and i am having NO MORE FUEL ISSUES...
but you guys were no help ...hehe
