Vouch for Bowie.
I owned this car before him. It ran incredibly strong when I had it and the motor was stock (no exhaust when I had it). Handles like a million bucks too.

I should also mention that this CRX has about the best brakes of any I've ever driven or ridden in on track, and that's a lot of CRXs and Civics.
I did some minor freshening on it when I had it - replaced all the brake components except the proportioning valve, RacerBowie did that. I also did an alignment (zero toe all four corners) when we put the suspension on it. The rear bar, BTW, is a Progress 22mm bar.
Bowie forgot to mention (unless he took this stuff out) that the thing has a BRAND NEW Blaupunkt CD head unit and two new front speakers. I also wired it to accept a set of RCA inputs through a pigtail coming through the cubby hole in the dash. XM or iPod connection should be cake.
Anyone looking to get started doing track stuff or autocrossing would do well to buy this car. It turns in RIGHT NOW, has nice drop throttle rotation available, and pulls like a horse all the way to redline.

Still has all that stuff in it! I really need to sit down, make a list, and then edit my post.
Ryan, come look at it this weekend at RA, this thing is a cage away from your ITA/H4 dreams...

Precisely. I'm done with old, busted, rusty, stubborn, stuck ****. If I need a smoke wrench to work on it... i want no part of it
Bowie - I'll be at RA, I'll come kick the tires... find me if you can (blue E26 325is w/ M3 wheels), i'll be on track all day instructing.

Don't forget (in the event you still have them) the spare distributor and alternator that came with the car. That alternator was nearly new.

They are in a box waiting to go to whomever the new owner becomes. Also both shop manuals, the stock parts, etc....The stuff that goes with the car JUST BARELY fits inside it.

Bowie I put a link up over at carolinahondas.com. Maybe someone local to me will want this track-ready, affordable, fun car:

Let me know if I need to edit anything.

Thanks for that Karl!
There seems to be some decent interest in the car so far, but no one jumping all over it. It will be posted at the racetrack this weekend, and if none of the nibbles become bites then it will probably go up on Autotrader.
I really would prefer to sell it to someone who will enjoy it....
