This is not my car, or my motor, but my friend Loi's aka The Tea Father, owner of Sportcarmotion.com, just wanted to share his current build up.
Didn't get a chance to get a pic of the block or head, as they're both at DV/DT Engineering, where Stan the man is working some magic. But a quick run down of what should prove to be a very fun motor.
- Sleeved ITR block: along with Eagle rods and CP pistons purchased through Mr Earl Laskey with a target compression of 12.5:1, 85mm. (sorry no pics)
- Toda upgrades:
ITB's
Spec C's
cam gears
timing belt
valvesprings/retainers
oil gear
- Apexi Power FC
This motor will be dropped into the CTR you see through the window. With any luck, everything should be coming together shortly. 95% of the parts needed are at the shop already, and assembly has begun. The block and head are right next door getting the DV/DT treatment

Just wondering if those ITBs are gonna be big enough?
I think Justin at A&J had problems with his A-Sports on his 2.0L setup.....(intended for high comp 16As if I'm not mistaken)
Not sure about the Todas, though they do come off the AE101 unless they've updated?

Good point.
These ITB's were made for a high compression 1.8, but DV/DT will be doing some work to them, port matching, before the motors ready to drop in. Not sure if he'll reveal the flow bench info, but I'll ask tomorrow when I stop by.

The Toda ITB's come stander with 43mm, Stan DV/DT engineering bore and ported it out to 46mm. This is what Toda recommand for the 2 liters setup. keep the throtle body smaller will made good mid rang power and have a smoother power band. the car is purpose build for time attack, we need the car to idle and drive normal

you shouldn;t have any problems with a 2.0 liter ... used mine on big bore 86mm engines and made quite a bit of power and mid range torque... on street car.

how much power did you get of your your street car, did you open up the throtle bodies to 45mm or so?

almost 244 @ wheels ... shitloads of torque though ... was in my Del Sol.
endyn had ported out the manifold slightly but never bored the actual throttle bodies. The injector location also play a big role in fuel atomization ... LOL I did have some interesting backfiring though the firewall gets black from fuel lodging

no, its was a stock 87.2mm GSR crank ... it was all in the Endyn headwork and the HyTech header. The bore was an 86mm with Golden Eagle sleeves.
I used the Endyn gasported pistons with wristpin moved up 0.25" for longer rod to give higher r/s ratio.
I'm remembering mostly from memory, this motor was done about 3 or 4 yrs ago.
