The motor's already in your car so work with it..But you sound like you dont know **** about anything..My advice to you is search honda-tech..You'll find everything you need to know..

You can use any b-series vtec head..
b16a sir1
b16a sir2
b16a1
b16a2
b16a3
b17a
b18c,1,2,3,4,5
And you will have to dyno it to find out the power..

dang i didin know u could run that many diff heads the c5 head sounds good...........what would u run and one more ??? how much boost can u run on a motor like this with all stock pistons rods without blowing something my car has a few things done to it has 8lb flywheel dc header aem cold air intake and crane stage 3 cams and str fuel rail few other things runs low 13s every pass

Dont worry about boost..Boost is solely dependent on whatvever turbo you use..
Worry about how much hp the motor can handle..The b-series is good for 300whp max with good management, and the proper turbo setup..
why did mention the dc header for??If you turbo the car you'd be tossing that thing anyway..And I doubt you're running low 13s every pass..More like low 15s ..Be realisctic..

Yeah I doubt that is a low 13 second car... I think you meant to say you want it to run low 13s every time.
But to add my 2 cents to your original question:
Cheapest - VTEC
Fastest - Turbo
B18As are 130 hp, B16s are 160-170, so you could get around 30-40 more horse (not exactly positive on the numbers, depends on the compression ratio, etc.) by adding a VTEC head and doing all that.
B18A + Turbo would probably be around 200 hp (again, an estimate)...
If you are kinda new to this stuff, I think a VTEC head swap would be a little easier to install and keep reliable...

With the right parts and about 1500-2000 you could have 300whp on teh b18. Turboedit or uberdata for managment, precision sc61 works great on those motors, we used a super60. Johnnyracecar 8in intercooler is 200 bucks. Any bov, dont go to cheap though, i picked up my blitz for 145 used. Get a decent log mani for under 200. 450dsm injectors for 60, charge pipes can be done for under 200 r do them yourself. Oil lines, 75, all the little other misc. gaskets and such, 100 bucks. That would be a sick setup in a ef.

dont forget:
DP - $200-$300
DT - $100
3" cat and exhaust - $400-$600 (what good is that big turbo if you have a small exhaust)
getting a welder to assemble all the above - $200
wastegate - $200
half sized radiator - $40 (used OEM EG) $260 (fluidyne half rad)
crossmember - $??? (modify stock one) $400-$475 Lcon or Full-Race for 3" DP's
couplers and hose clamps - $90
fuel pump - $89 Walbro 255lph
relocate battery - $90 (battery) $50-$100 (for wiring, distro blocks, etc)
yah it adds up

adding a vtec head to a b18a will not give you those #s off the bat. maybe after tuning and adding quite a bit of parts, but your not going to pickup 40hp just from swapping the head.
personally i think you need to do your homework and search on this site alot more and figure out what you can afford to do. NA or Turbo.... b18s have a much lower CR than a b16 and would be a great place to start with for a turbo... LS VTEC will also give great numbers, but you may need to spend a little more to make the power you want. its more or less figureing out which setup for you will work best for the $ and the Gains but factor in reliability as well... if you build the turbo setup and you don't build up the motor how long will it last under pressure?
there are many questions you need to ask yourself.

I would keep the LS and boost it. Why spend another 1200-2k on a b16 that gives you about 20-30 more hp but about 10-15 less tq. Stick to LS and boost it at 9lbs and see how u like it
you added stuff like crossmemember and relocating battery and such, and a few others that dont need ot be done. Yeah, exhaust can be pricey, but i prefer open downpipe cutout, weleded into stock exhasut. Flows quiet and easier NOT to hit boost when crusing around, then push the button when you get on it. Im working an a valve that opens after 50% throttle. SO the turbo spools easier.
I spent about 1500 all together on my setup. But i did most of it myslef or had people to help. It can be cheap if you have the right connections.

How hard is to spell Vtec. I've heard VTec, VTech, Vtech and lots of others. Is it so fricking hard. VTEC!
Your planning to do a swap or a turbo project maybe, and you cant spell vtec. Heh. Good luck.
