Got my car painted today(56k warning lots of pics)
*NEW PICS ON PAGE 2*
Well I have been wanting to redo my exterior for some time now. First I had to de-rice some things, Then I replaced my crappy carbon fiber hood with a nicer VIS OEM one. I also had a problem with my side skirts and rear add on starting to sag. I got this stuff at the body shop called Windo-weld and made a bead around the pieces before I put them back on and I was really impressed. Everything seems to fit so much nicer now and seems to stuck on their real strong.
After all that I started on the body work, The car had tons of door dings but was otherwise pretty straight. I shaved the front license plate mount, rear washer squirter, and rear emblems (except the middle "A"). I bought JDM 1pc headlights and JDM thin side moldings. I also purchassed the MOMO hub, Nrg quick release steering wheel combo from user DA JeLLie from REV-Auto.com.
I finally got the car painted today, unfortunately even though I ordered the moldings about a week before everything else, they didnt show up until the car was already painted and everything was put away.
So tomorrow I will be buffing the car, painting the moldings, wiring in the headlights and putting everything back together.
Anyway here are the pics.

can you tell which light i polished?anyway I hope I didnt crash you computer, and I will update tomorrow when I finish everthing else.

Car looks good
. I got a few questions though. Where did you buy the thin mouldings from and how much did they end up costing you? Also does your horn work with that wheel, I was looking at getting that setup. Thanks!

...good job dude! it looks like it's coming together nicely...
when it's finished, lower it an inch or two more and get some nice pics in a good area with a tripod.

I bought the Moldings from SHOPRESPONSE on Ebay, when today came and I hadnt gotten them Yet I thought I may have gotten scammed, because I ordered them on the march first and checked this morning to email the seller it said not a registered user. So I dont know why but I guess he is not selling them anymore even though his feedback was over 9,500. But luckily they came in good shape. I paid 169 shipped. I would suggest buying them from passwordJDM.com, thats where I got my headlights from and I was very pleased. They shipped really fast and came in great shape and packaged real well.
My horn does not work because I was in a hury to finish so that I could move my car. But it would not be hard to take it off agian and hook it up, it comes with everything needed. I hope that helps. If you do buy it I would recommend DA JELLIE, he answered all my questions and shipped it real fast. I hope that helps

I love the steering wheel, it seems like a great quality for the price. Also I am 6'4" so it's way better than the huge stock one. My knees dont hit anymore and because of the quick release I can slide my seat all the way back and not have to overeach to grab the wheel. Before it looked like I was trying to be a "G" since its hard to tell how tall I am from outside the car. But even if your not tall like me this would still be a good setup.

Are you talking about the Windo-Weld. I bought that at a local Autobody store. It cost me about fourteen bucks and one was plenty for the rear and side skirts.
