I was wondering if there is any other way to do the 5 lug conversion without buying the civic or integra type R hubs, arms, and brakes. Could i use the latest generation prelude hubs? Or what about the accord hubs? I just can't justify $1,000+ for the conversion.

if you're only doing it for the wheels, then don't do it. The reason why i want the ITR 5-lug conversion is for the awesome braking power
Of course you could always upgrade your current set up. Don't do the 5-lug unless you you really want those ITR rims. Most aftermarket rims come in 4 or 5 lug.

I'm doing it just to have 5 lugs on a 4 door. I'll prolly be running prelude rims until i can get the 16" type R rims. I already have a 4 piston brake setup, so i would throw away the type r calipers and discs.

thanks b20bastard, but does anyone know if i can get the front knuckle/hub assembly and rear trailing arm assembly from another honda? Is there anyother way to go 5 lug without paying an arm and a leg for the typeR parts?

nice rides mrjdm and fourdoorGSR. But, can anyone answer my question above? Is it possible to get the trailing arms and hubs from another car besides a civic/integra type-r?

The number of lugs on your car have nothing to do with braking power or any performance aspect.

Hes talking about the ITR calipers and rotors that bolt right up to the 5 lug conversion. They are better for braking then the stock integras.

Those rims need some serious cleaning/bleaching.
You cant see the dirt/water spots too well since the sun kinda came out and gave some nice light. Thats actually a friends ride/daily driver. His other car is pretty much a JDM ITR down to the seats, steering wheel, and 16" JDM wheels...
Heh, sometimes I wonder when there will be more Civics and RS/LS/GSRs with 5 lugs than ITRs.
Just go to fackin fastbrakes.com and get Wilwoods and 11" rotors... I'll be glad when the ITR wheel fad dies away with the JDM thing.

yeah i guess your right. I got the 11", 4piston caliper setup. its way too damn expensive to go with the 5 lug converison. UNLESS anyone knows a cheaper way.
