Default OEM springs + not enough sleep = 4x4...

So I decided to change back to my OE springs on my car due to the rough ride of the ebay coilovers I bought when I was more naive. So I started with the back and grabbed the springs I had set aside a while ago fearing I would have to reinstall them. I put on both the rear springs and set down the car.... Well I think I mixed up the OE fronts with the rears because the wheel gap in the rear is now like 8-9 inches (I will post pics tomorrow). My question is; Do the front and rear OE springs have different rates and lengths? because if not my car has some serious problems now. Also did Honda stamp the springs with anything to tell the front and rear apart? TIA

Yes, and possibly. The fronts are longer then the rears. I think they may be marked with paint to tell them apart as well, but I'm not certain of that.

the rear springs have a progressive rate. the fronts are linear. theyre easy to tell apart, the rears will have two different spacings between coils. the fronts will be uniform.

honestly, when you go back to stock springs, the ride height will look huge! but, thats just how stock was.

what you WILL need to do is reset your bushings again however, to make sure youre really at the proper ride height. basically, when you have the suspension in place with the wheel still off, loosen ALL suspension bolts, just back them out a few turns. then jack that corner so the weight off the jackstand is completely off. bounce that corner up and down a bit so the bushings settle and THEN tighten everything up.

I fixed it, and it looks a lot better now, but thought I would post a pic for a good laugh.

Well, I did put the wrong springs (front) in the back, I just swapped them out after work for the right ones, and it looks very good... compared to the above.
