Default Lockhart Phillips frame sliders?

Are these the brand to go with? What are your experierences with them, pros/cons? I figured this is one aftermarket part that isnt worth cheaping on, so I came here to find out what all you guys thought! Let me know if I should consider going with a differnt brand and why.
TIA,
Aaron.

It's all about the bolt. Try to get nice bolts for them. I've seen a couple cheap ones snap.

Sometimes, the best aftermarket part is one that isn't aftermarket at all... that's why I picked up the Suzuki sliders for my bike.

So look for strength and rigidity in the bolt, right? The actual plastic part that ends up getting ground away in the event of a get off isnt as important?

The bolt is the most integral part (think snapping off here) of the set up but I think there could be some quality issues with the slider itself. While I have no first hand experience with cheapo brands I imagine some are poor quality plastic that would grind away faster than than a harder plastic.

I just got done inspecting them first hand and they seem pretty beefy. About what did you pay for yours?

In tune with OEM overcharging, they weren't cheap - $87

That said, you're forced to replace engine mounting bolts with the slider bolt on an SV so I wanted to be sure I was getting it right. The mounting method may be different on other bikes and/or I may be overly cautious so judge accordingly.

My set of 3, one on my left and two on my right, along with my swingarm slider/spools was about $135.00 They're almost like the hard plastic you see on the bottom of skateboards from back in the day. (Don't quite know if you know what I mean) And as far as bolts.. try these guys for some titanium ones http://www.tastynuts.com/site/frameset.htm. Be sure to stay away from aluminum bolts. Stick with ti or high grade steel.
