In other news, I sent away $1500 to Anthony Nguyen and Chris Tran in Conroe, TX for misc. engine parts. Haven't heard from them in 3 weeks. Local authorities have been notified as well as the Internet Fraud Complaint Center.

Damn, see that's why i don't buy from people unless i know for a fact they are creditable. I hardly do that, your best bet is to find something local or as close as possible in the case of having to track these people down. If it's not local and no one knows the guy/girl then i leave it alone no matter how good a deal it is, it's not worth it. Always get their phone number and call it to make sure it's theirs. This happens way too often and people get away with it then do it again. I hope you guys get your stuff or atleast get your money back. Good luck. LAter..

Yep thats the guy. I have that same address. I'd suggest everyone at least report it to your local police. We can also get a lawyer.

NOW THIS IS WHAT I DID:

1) Called the Conroe police and talked to Officer Londage. The number is 936-760-5800

2) He told me to write a 10 day letter of demand and get it sent by certified mail. She has 10 days to send the or money. IF she doesnt then you fax the certified mail receipt to the conroe police and they go after her *** for theft.

I have already sent out the letter and she should receive it tomorrow. I WILL NOT LET THIS BITCH GET AWAY WITH THIS !! Let me know what you guys find out.

i called conroe police, they told me that glen eagle drive was outside the town lines....then i called people that lived around him, and they said that there is a house at 16742 but no one by the name of john nguyen lives there. i filed a comploaint with the iifc, but i haven't heard anything yet
this all happend about a week ago.
did he give any one else a cell phone number that is never on?

You will have to file a small claims complaint either with your local court house or with the one in Montgomery County (where conroe is)...you need his address and you need to find the one where he lives because an sheriff will serve him the legal documents and tell him what date he is scheduled to appear before a judge. If he doesn't show, he is found guilty. It sounds to me like he has prior run-in with the law, so it shouldn't be hard to turn something up on him. I did a property search on that address and nothing turned up. I would be able to help you guys, but Texas doesn't offer public records for no charge like many other states. If you want to research more, just start a search on google. Start clicking links, you will get somewhere. In time, you can find out anything about any one person in the United States....from SSN to Credit card numbers.

Well this is what you guys do after this guy has been convicted of the crime. you get the case report, and take this guy out to small claims court. and sue him for whatever you lost, and then some. He's already been convicted so it should be easy to get your money back and some damages. and just bring up the other case in court.
