He is somewhat an honest person. He will not steal your money. He will take forever in getting the parts to you but you will either get your stuff or your money back. From what I hear and see, he is an excellent welder but sucks when it comes to customers service. Instead of hiding from customers, he should explain to them that things will take a little longer than he predicted. If he just kept in contact with his customers instead of hiding people would be a lot more understanding. Customers feel much better when they get replies to e-mails or phone calls. If they dont, they feel like they have been taken.
Sucks because he has real potential to be a great welder and fabricator but will never go anywhere unless his customer service skills improve. He is throwing everything down the drain!
I e-mailed him along time ago to purchase manifolds in quantity because I liked his work but never got a reply. Too bad, because I have bought roughly 15 headers for customers since then and that really could have helped him stay in business.
Sorry so long, just figured I would add my $.02 in because I have been reading posts about his customer service for quite some time.

Whoa no one is getting screwed here... my "real" job had to come first here this week... i work as doing snow plowing / mason and we had a snow fall and then had to inside drain tile job the next couple days. Anyways i have this weekend unless it snows and im working as much as i can to get orders completed and shipped today or monday. Besides excessive out of anyone should know that stuff happens... he didnt exactly pay right upfront even after recieving most of his flanges. Stuff happens.

IDK, but it might be a good idea or plan to stop taking orders for a while and catch up on the missed work. I don't wanna sound like an *** but that's what I would do if I was REALLY REALLY behind. Money makes the world go round!!!

It does not take longer than 2 minutes to type up a quick PM and tell people what is going on with thier order, and tell them the truth instead of lying. Even with you "other job" are you telling me that you don't have a spare 10 minutes to go up and tell people what's going on? That is just horseshit.
