hmm dunno, it is a D15B2...

 

Since she was a dope head you may want to check the interior for old dope needles hehe, nice find man

I had the same engine as yours when I bought my 89 HF. The HF series should have D15B6 but mine had D15B2, which has more hp because D15B6 has 62hp and D15B2 have 92hp. Is this a good thing?

 

previous mechanic most likely replaced it with a b2, probably easier to find than an hf. Doubtful someone just replaced the cover.

 

Bugs are the ******* worse to jump start

but see it wasnt jump starting it, its a god dang go-kart. the fukin throttle cable always happen to snap when im an hour away from home

 

I have never had that problem with my bug, just ripping the back seat out to get to the battery was the gheyest.

My friend got this hatch for $300...

The guy that sold it to him went to honda for an estimate and decided it wasn't worth it and he went to sell it to a junkyard and the junkyard was only going to give him 300. So he sold it to my friend who he works with for that price. Needless to say, $40 got the car running again. I HATE him.
It has a GReddy EVO exhaust, an SI DC header (it's a CX though so I am not sure how that works ) and an Injen Intake.

I wish I could find cars for cheap

 

its pretty beat but for a hundred bucks you should be beaten

ummm ya. Its raining cats and dogs here in so. cal. Cant work on my Hondas or anything pretty much. I have raised my post count so much due to me being all bound up. Saturdays EF meet almost got canceled b/c of the rain....So fawk the rain.

LOL i know, since this is my 1st rex i dont know much about them. It tripped me out when i took a look at the odometer right before the purchase

 

serious we had enough rain now its just to much

 

i feel you on that rain man.....Hey You live right next to the grapevine too, i would be all over that curvy 20mi mountain road testing out that totally awesome hf. I did that drive so many god damn times....and i must admit when it rain sin In Claritia it comes down like no ones business. But down here in chula vista/san diego/San ysidro/Otay.....the rain is killing people and destorying houses. So i am in agreement....
