ZC in a STD
it'll bolt-up....but its not the best choice. dx/si tranny's can be had pretty cheaply, but I understand where you're coming from. you'd have to get new axles/hubs w/ those tranny's too.
your harness, is fine, you just have to do the mpfi swap...look for a dx-zc wiring dieagram. you'll want an 88-89 teg ECU, not the 90-91 which is for a b series engine....

the tranny is the same casing but sucks big ones wut year std? tap into ur stock motor its got ***** if u want to spend less than u would on a zc do the mpfi swap i dunno wut ur looking for but its well worth it to be honest even with the 4 speed its ok but with the 5 speed ull see alot more pickup and ull beat teh si model easily in a race

its an 88 4 speed std. what parts would i all need for the mpfi swap?
id also recomend getting rid of ur exhaust from the motor back and using a dx or si the piping is tiny on our 88 std
but with the 5 speed ull see alot more pickup and ull beat teh si model easily in a race
