mines at 4400 and seems to be good because it gradually accelerates not jolts when it was at 5500. I dont know i guess its what you prefer, thats just me.

ya i have mugen chipped(around 4400rpm)...and it sucks...paired with my b16 y1 tranny i get **** gas mileage because i cant go above 70 without goin into vtec....its crazy fun in the canyons tho cuz it never falls out of vtec....i would set it to at least 4800
5200 is awesome....There is no kickback or too much movement.....It's just a click....*exhaust sounds beefer* and then you feel the difference especially when you've gone from not having it to SUDDENLY having it....
5200 *stock* is good.

i have a lsvtec wit itr cams and my tuner set vtec for 5600, wit MY cams he said that if he puts vtec at anything lower it will weaken the vtec......tuned with hondata
dyno tune it and find out when you should have it change over for the best possible curve and power

Why would you want it any lower than 5800 Vtec like the stock b16b with the CTR cams?? Isnt that stock? Whats wrong with 5800? Why are so many people saying 5100--5300; Do you guys actually have ctr cams or are you just agreeing? Please explain more about this.
