mines at 4400 and seems to be good because it gradually accelerates not jolts when it was at 5500. I dont know i guess its what you prefer, thats just me.

IIRC the stock ctr B16b is set at 5800. That's what I'll be setting mine at.

i like the 5k or 5.2k because it seems like as soon as vtec kick in its all over and i have to start again in another gear.

mine's at 6500 with my skunk2 cams... best bet is go to a dyno and watch where the power starts to dip on the low-rpm lobes.

5200 is awesome....There is no kickback or too much movement.....It's just a click....*exhaust sounds beefer* and then you feel the difference especially when you've gone from not having it to SUDDENLY having it....
5200 *stock* is good.

I would *** dyno it, if VTEC hits hard, like it physically jolts the car, raise it until that stops, but don't go too far either.

dyno tune it and find out when you should have it change over for the best possible curve and power

Why would you want it any lower than 5800 Vtec like the stock b16b with the CTR cams?? Isnt that stock? Whats wrong with 5800? Why are so many people saying 5100--5300; Do you guys actually have ctr cams or are you just agreeing? Please explain more about this.
