b16 turns over.. but sputters.
I've searched this.. and checked everything I found.
I had a b16a1 in a 90 crx HF. wanted to put the engine into a 90 SI.
did the swap.. same ecu.. ran the 4 wires. it turns over.. but then it gets a real hard turn.. like it kicking back or something..
any ideas?

The wires may have stayed on the dizzy, but you don't know someone might have switched them around between Japan and your house. Unless you know they are in the correc firing order.
Do you mean same ECU as in your Stock ECU? If so, you need to use a Pr3 or Pwo ECU.

I took the engine and ecu out of a 90 hf.. and put it into a 90 si. I own both cars.. it ran perfect before I took it out. and yes, I am using a pr3.
are there any differences in wiring from an HF to an SI? I used the stock wiring inside the car.. just added the 4 wires into the ecu It should start without those wires anyway...
with the si resister box it threw no codes.. but when I used the hf one (the one that it was running) it throws Ignition Output Signal.
I'm going to check for spark when I get off work.
another thing... what is the relay right above the hood popper.. it's not the main relay..but one attached to the actual hood release.
