I have been in contact with Charleston about ordering one which I will be doing very shortly. He has answered all my questions and is very fast to reply to
e-mails.

Great customer service

Can't wait to get mine.

For the question above go to http://www.a-spec-racing.com to order one.

They already do...look at my username LOL.

The one for the EG chassis is the same as for a DC.

Looks more like cnc machined 1/2" billet aluminum, but I agree it is still a lot.

I could probably have the same thing made for $60-70.

We could say the same thing about a lot of things in this world though. Can't blame a person/company for supplying a product/service that the majority of people couldn't make themselves.

You got to be kidding....you know how much R&D is put into these things? It's not like a Beaks or BSQ kit....remember, you get what you pay for.

There isn't much R&D that goes into this thing actually. It's just one plane and it looks like the big piece really is just a piece of metal cut to fit. And then you have various spacers. It's not brain surgery.

All the holes for mounting points need to be very precise. Few things need to be accounted for such as the fact that not all subframes are the same measurements, so that needed to be kept in mind when designing this. Plus mounting the bar at the right height to make sure the endlinks and so forth are at a correct angle and not cocked.
