Default My ls/vtec project

well here is the setup

b18a/ 99 si head (stock)
p30's
all new oem bearings
all new oem rings
new b20 oil pump
arp rod bolts and head studs
golden eagle oil return kit
skunk2 im
jg cam gears
vafc
aem fuel rail, b&m pressure reg
2.25 exhaust
dont have money for header or cams yet but i was thinkin some skunk stage 2's and dynamic autosport header...any suggestions on things i should get...im hopein for 165 to 170whp tuned without a good header and cams

here are some pics of the progress
here is my ls block before the cleaning

here it is after...im still gonna paint it but i ran out of time today

here is the tranny after i cleaned it..i still have to paint it to

some new goodies

vht flat aluminum hight temp spray paint...it looks more silver than it acutally is becuase of the flash on the camera

ya if they were new lookin i would have left them..but they looked like **** so i painted them to..lol..any ideas on about what hp this setup will put out??

i got it all together exept the flywheel and clutch and timeing belt...still waiting on oil return line to

i dont know if its just me or not. but with my ls/vtec i used the golden eagle kit and i cant use a factory honda filter. cuz soon as i turn the car on oil leaks from the seal between the filter and the GE fitting. the i used a fatter pure one filter and the leaking stopped.

Good thing for coulter to look out for but I dont think he used oem honda filters

no it was from old radiator fluid that was all yellow and nasty...it just kinda staind it ...btw i honed the cylinders after those pics anyway so they look primo now
