2001 Accord Transmission - Yes It's Been Covered - Read Anyway
When my 2001 Accord tranny started slipping between shifts at 90,000 I searched to death and found many complaints and advice about the problem, but NO solutions.
I called Honda Customer Service and checked my VIN and stuff and they said I was good to 100,000. The next day my local dealership had already ordered the new tranny and 4 days later a new tranny was installed free of charge.
I have to say Honda really took care of it for me. If you think anything at all might be wrong with your tranny just call up customer service and go to your local dealership. You shouldn't worry too much about whether or not it will be taken care of.

I believe it is a new one. If you have a 98-99 you are SOL.
