That is a tranny. or possibly the largest differential I have ever seen, with a shift lever...still gehy

Actually, having the tranny in the rear is not ghey at all, as it evens out the weight distribution and that gives better traction and handling.

I believe Porsche 944 and whatever other ones that came with a front engine and Corvettes use the same technology of placing the tranny in the rear

This shop is in Union, NJ. I saw the car about a year ago while they were still building it. The transmission is from an Audi. I have never seen anything like it before. The shop owner and his son fabbed up everything. They also build race car chassis's. The car is pretty insane, definitely something different.
