Default Side Skirts > '95 DX Hatch Vs. '93 EX Coupe

I'd always understood that EG coupes and hatchbacks shared side skirts, fenders, front bumper cover etc. I just bought some side skirts off a 1995 DX hatchback and they are over an inch too short for the '93 EX Coupe. I'm not just fitting them wrong, the holes on the body are different.

Just want to make sure nobody else makes the same mistake I did. Or maybe somebody can give more info on this?

Anybody need to trade?

Shoulda asked before you bought them. The 2/4 door skirts are the same but the 3dr are shorter.

Hindsight's 20/20 I guess, thanks for the info though.

Whoever gave you that info is wrong. Coupe and Hatchback sideskirts are not interchangeable. But I agree, you should've asked here first.

all three of them are different. the coupe, hatch and four door side skirts are all different. trust me i know i went to a junk yard that had side skirts for a 4 door and hatch. i tried the four door, but the holes don't match up with the clips. on the hatch the skirt is just too small. i finally found coupe side skirts at the same junkyard a few months later and it fit perfectly.

if nobody believes me the parts # for the 4 door is 107981/2, coupe 109451/2, hatch 106512/3. the other number after the slash if for the right side. these parts #'s are from the honda automotive parts website.

vtec94civic, Thanks for the new info, I might have made another mistake if you hadn't brought that up.

Also, I can't remember if I even told the seller my application was a coupe. Really not his fault so no hard feeling toward him. It's always up to the buyer to know his stuff - in this case I was just dumb.

neocrynym, pmed.
