DPFI to MPFI Distributor plug Color wires.
Are DX distributor plug wires colors suposed to match exactly like the ones on the b16 distributor plug. or do i have swap some wires around.?
I just want to make sure cause this write up here is kind of weird or it might me right.

Match them up to the same colors. Then, the 2 white wires you need to match fatter white to fatter white. If you cant tell...
basically there will be a solo white in each plug, match those up. and for obd1 match the solo plug to the yel/grn

here you go, i did this and this is the color scheme i used, and needless to say, it worked for me...
---------------------white-------------------
blue----------------orange-----orange/blue
blue/yellow--------white-------white/blue
---------------------blank------------------
note: This is on the ecu side of the distributor plug. One of those white wires is a faded Tan colored wire (tan = white). So if you have a tan wire, i forgot where it goes, but switch the two white wires around if there is a problem with the distibutor (code 4). Because the white wire next to the blank deals with a crank angle sensor (code 4). Like i said, if you switch them you should be fine if a problem arises.

Forgot where i stole this from...
IF for whatever reason you were to need to rewire your EF distributor plugs here is how they are set-up.
Look at the back of the plug, if you have it oriented right then you have the tab at the top, then one row of two wires, one row of four wires (with the leftmost one empty), and one row of two wires. Reading left to right and top to bottom you get:
WHT/BLU (C4 at ecu) TDC sensor
ORA/BLU (C3) TDC sensor
Empty
WHT/RED (B12) Crank angle sensor
ORA (B10) Crank angle sensor
BLU/GRN (C1) Cyl sensor
BLU/WHT (C2) Cyl sensor

this is a pic of the harness plug turned upside down:

the colors are basically the same and in the same configuration in the two plugs
distributor side=
---------------------white-------------------
blue----------------orange-----orange/blue
blue/yellow--------white-------white/blue
---------------------blank------------------
I think I wrote that chart...

well i took the ECU side of the plug from the JDM harness and i depined the wires from the square DX plug and pined them on the JDM (ROund plug) following the same color order making sure that the white LOANER wire is the loaner wire.
Everything else is matched up the same way i havent yet started my engine cause im waiting on my fuel pump but just want to make sure I did it right? i also left the blue-green &bue-yellow wires hanging out for the C1 and C2 connections.
Did I do the right thing?

Sounds like you did..Here is another shot of a plug I had laying around..
The main problem people have here is the wires discolor with age..
Start with the wires that you are sure of and go from there..
