the teams i knew that were there were; vital, sinister, new-era, and the k-series insight.

What's up G , Just got home . Had lots of fun today .
I was there for a little seat time and some data logging .
I was just pulling through third . She is very strong .
Plus the track had no traction .

The last log pass was the best for me .
I went first through third . Ran the 1/8 at 6.80 103 MPH . best 60 was only a
1.6

 

i remmber someone runnin 10.6 i think it was a blue hatch

The race was kinda weak. It was hard for any racers to get seat time because of all the delays. Then again it is kinda expected for a winter warm up.

Good to hear that the new motor is strong LO. Anymore pics? Really makes me miss racing

 

the sinister blue ek pulled off the 10.6. nice time for all motor and shitty track conditions. i got some pics to post so watch for them.

 

Very disappointing day. practically no seat time at all! Plus the track had horrible traction. It got better later on when the sun came out though. to all that could make it.

I left with two passes. A 14.5 @ 99mph and a 14.4 @ 101.9mph. Both times resulted in a blistering 2.5 60 foot time. There was just NO traction and running street tires just compounded the problem. Oh well.

 

that would have probably been an easy 13 sec. slip if u had slicks

 

13.8@102(azenis) is the best i could do after 2 runs. 60ft at 2.3

They were there.. The car wasn't there. Warren was driving one of the techs cars (chue's). I think he made best of 12.2 pass in the car that day. They were shooting for 11's but I left. (the purplish, primer hatch) The one that couldn't hold idle, or the one that people were rumoring was running methanol..lol

BTW: Does anyone know what setup that white 240 was running?

Very true. Waiting in line is a bitch and I only got 3 runs in.

 

i think they need to hold like a drag racing seminar from like 8-10 on the rules of racing and how to stage. i dont know how many times i saw guys try to line up with there rear tires or just sit there like 2feet infront of the beams waiting for the lights to go then the guy workin the tree has to tell the driver to either back up or move forward. Also another thing that i noticed this time around is that alot of guys all the sudden think there professional drag racer's doing burnouts from the water box to 20ft past the starting line when they only have drag radials or street tires.

 

atleast you got 3 runs in, i only got 2! Stupid oil spill at the end made me wait in line for no reason.
