Default Solid Radius Rod Bushing for better Traction?

This might be a dumb question, but if i fabbed up some solid (steel, aluminum etc.) bushings to replace the stock soft rubber bushings that are on the radius rod on the front crossmember, would this help out with traction issues, because to me it seems like the less play in the radius rod, the more traction. Sorry if this is dumb, i was up at 4am. Any insight would be appreciated.

Fab some with Spherical bearings. There will be more road noise, but most of your geometry will stay "true". The front crossmember flexes a lot, so seal welding can help, but if you can fab a tubular crossmember you will even be better yet.

There should be some traction bars available soon that will do just what he's talking about as well as replace the heavy *** front crossmember...

This was not a dumb question at all. We actually made aluminum bushings 2 years ago and use them until we replaced it with the traction system. Im going to try to post a picture. I hope this works.

Finally! Look out guys I know how to show pictures now.

If there is an interest from others - I will get a price on getting these made up.

The only way to give a honest answer would be to run the car at the track with the oem set up then change to solid mounts. As for the new traction setup the same test would need to be done. We have made so many changes over the past 2 years its almost like a new set up every time we go to the track.
I will try to get a price by the end of next week and let everyone know.
I look at the as an inexpensive way to improve traction.

If your interested continue to post because the price should be better with volume.

Steve Sr.

Here is our current set up.
