BFG drag radials
Not sure if this is the right place for this question but I'll ask anyway.
I wanted to get the Gforce BFG drag radials for daily driving this summer. Does anyone know how many miles they usually last. Yes I know it depends on how much your lighting them up but if anyone does this your input would be appriciated.
thanks

not 100% how long they last but they are defenitly worth the $$$
WHen i got them and ran with them i shaved off a second off my q/t mile time cause the wheels just grabbed and didnt spin

enough about the price, and how long they last. lets move on to the most important question for the racers, what's the best/average 60' time you can get with these tires?

ive seen 1.9 60ft on the OLD style bfgs. running about 11-12 psi of air pressure in them.
(no traction bars/camber kits/limitstraps)

i been looking at the 14" bfg dr, but i haven't heard anything in regards to 60' times. to those who have used the new ones, what rpm are you getting out the hole at? also how do i figure out the difference between the new and old tires, i wouldn't want to buy a pair only to find out that they are the old desing
any pictures, links?

OK , someone I know went 1.7's on them . I personally went 1.9's on them .
The old ones dont hook nearly as good as the newer ones in my opinion. I ran on them both a few times. The older ones i thought were more based for RWD. I heard that somewhere?

Mine used to last 3-4k miles per set. This was in a 12 second street tire car that I pretty much raced every single day. I'd imagine that if you don't race too often and you don't have too much power you could prolly get 6k out of them. Also, if you got like 500hp, and you are roasting them thru 3rd everywhere you go, then you might only get 1k out of a set.

The best 60' I got so far is 2.018 but htis more driver error then anything. The same tire on a friends Golf were 1.90's and he even blew his diff at the end of the day with them. LOL

That's probably what size I'll end up getting. But I'm still working on my turbo setup, and tryin to get as much tire input as possible.
