i noticed a difference...oh, wait, i did a valve adjustment and a new j's racing copy intake at the same time, so...

in all seriousness, replace your stock grounding wires if they are old and/or corroded and i also added a wire from alternator bracket to top of valve cover (supposed to increase spark), wire from intake manifold to shock tower (supposed to help sensors work better), and wire from neg. terminal on battery to thermostat housing (the ecu is grounded here also). i just did 8ga wire and spent about 5 bucks total on connectors and all. in my opinion, if it works, great, if not, i only spent 5 bucks.

well in theory it should work
look at the crazy high output sound systems
they dont use lamp cord
a few mags also did dyno tests so I can see the few hps it should give

its simple electronics....there called circuts becuase they travel in a circut ....if theres a weak point in this circut then the transfer of electricity will be slower ...it would be a shame to fully build you motor but leave a stock exaust on it ....

grounds are so important on a motor ..you have to remember what it is mounted on....rubber ..theres no way for the motor to ground it self out ..therefore any help will be great...i cant say ive seen them make power but coming from an electronics background its also easy to see how it would ...

to create spark takes alot of energy ...the coil has alot to do at 8000+ rpm

im not saying 4 guage is a must ..i think its over kill ..but 8 guage with new wire is all thats needed ...
if anyhting it will look better and it wont hurt performance so why not

They really do work, they smooth out throttle response and help the electrical system work more effiecently, obviously b/c it's better grounded.
All kits are pretty much the same and serve the same basic function.
Keep in mind if you are going to upgrade and do it all right I would also suggest picking up a voltage stabilzer kit also.

I remember a couple of times i forgot to hook up a ground when i pulled the engine. It was the valve cover to the engine bay, car actually ran like ****. hooked it up and it was fine.

And there was another time that my boy forgot ta hook up tha tranny ground wire and the car wouldnt even go over 3000rpm. Hooked it up and it was just fine. So IMO i think they really do work and give u a little more hp.

I've been fortunate enough to screw around with few of these setups on the dyno and in most Honda's I've observed a gain of at least 1 hp on average throughout the powerband. Plus the car really does run a hell of a lot better.

What about items such as this:

Are they worth the money? I believe Sun, APEXi, and Buddy Club among others make them. You can make you own inexpensive ground wire kit but these things cost a little bit of money.

i think that is a voltage stabilizer? so basically might be some electronics and some capacitors. i hooked up a diy ground kit with 8g wire and i noticed my idle was more stable and my butt dyno noticed a couple hp as well.

i got my wire at lowes. it was 8ga THHN (gas and oil resistant), just a little stiff to work with. i paid like 28 cents a foot or something like that.

and how to wire it rocket? wire those points in a series, or wire them all to a single ground

you will either have to make a post or buy a post that will allow you to add a few rings to it for your grounds. not that hard to find. make the battery your COMMON grounding point. MAKE SURE you change the BATTERY ground wire as well as the rest. Also make sure the battery ground is in a good location. If not, move it to the frame. Run your ground from the battery out to whatever point you'd like to make a better ground to...

please correct me if I'm wrong...
