Default K20A vs B18C5: Engine and Tranny Weight ???

Does anyone know what the weight difference between the K20A and B18C5 is? I would assume that the K20a is a bit heavier, but exact numbers would be helpful. The reason is that I'm wondering how much added weight the K20A would put in an EG civic vs. swapping in the B18C5.

STOP SPREADING MISINFORMATION!!!

damn... read this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=879294

"B-Series engine/trans: 401 pounds

K-Series engine/trans: 403 pounds"

The B-Series motor DID have a power steering pump, and the A/C torque mount, so factor in 5 lbs or so on top of the numbers below..

B20VTEC & JDM K20A

Stop spreading what you think is the truth... there it is, on the scales...

Thanks a lot for the info. I'm surprised at how close they are.

Whats more important to me than the weight difference is the location of the weight. Ive seen k swaps in the 5th gens sitting way back for roadracing/autocross setup and seen them forward for more drag/street racing.

Seems to just matter which mount kit you get.

o-yeah and the trannys on the other side for a more even weight distribution.
