world's 1st 4th gen accord (cb7) with 5 lug swap at all 4 corners!!
i present to you, the world's first 4th gen accord with complete 5 lug swap on all corners! the car belongs to f22a (sean), and he completed it last night (1/8/05). no more hub over rotor design!

just so no one thinks it's photoshopped:

parts used
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
front:
1995 Honda Odyssey Knuckles
1995 Honda Odyssey Hubs/Wheelbearings
1997-2001 Integra Type R Brembo Blank Rotors
1993-1996 Prelude VTEC Calipers/Pads
parts used for the rear:
- 1992-1993 Honda Accord EX/SE Rear Disc Knuckles and Trailing Arms
- 1997+ Honda Prelude Hubs and Wheelbearings
- 1996+ Acura Integra Type R Rotors
- 1992-1993 Honda Accord EX/SE Rear Calipers
- 1992-1993 Honda Accord EX/SE Emergency Brake Cables
</TD></TR></TABLE>
this is what some would call the perfect modification for a car:
1. aesthetics: disc brakes all around
2. aesthetics: allows for a larger choice of rims (some would say better choice of rims)
3. functionality: disc brakes all around (this is an lx, and thus had discs in the front, drums in the back)
4. future ease: no more hub over rotor design, now it's rotor over hub. allows for much less time, headache, sweat, and tears when changing brake pads
f22a, my hat is off to you!!

i'm from cali, residing in georgia for the time being!
the 4th gen accord was the last accord for every year, regardless of trim, where every car was 4 lug. any other 4th gen that had a 5 lug swap only had it done on the front. as to why the rears were never done, either people didn't have the money (though it wasn't that expensive), didn't want to go through the headache of trying to get it done, or didn't think it could be done.
if it's not the 1st, someone please correct me. as for now, i stand by my statement.

never seen that before, thats a pretty large assortment of honda parts, how long did it take to come up with the right combo
My question is how you can be so certain that your buddy is the first? Have you toured the world over looking for 5-lug'd 4th gens? Good job and all but that's pretty boastful of yourself w/o any hard proof to backup your claim.

i'm a mod on the only board dedicated to 4th gen accords (www.cb7tuner.com). the only 3 people with 5 lug 4th gens are:
f22a (the only complete one)
typesbaby (front swapped from a prelude)
mayberry4thgen (also a member of this board).
recent thread on ht.com about 5 lug swapped 4th gen accords
the only pics, the only thing i've ever heard of is the front swap. is it truly the 1st?... no one's disputed it yet! it's all in good fun, it's all about sharing the knowledge and spreading the word. it can be done, and not too expensive either.
