Rocket Motorsports H22 Regrinds???
I was searching on KTeller and found some cams, they are regrinds, but them seem to be making some decent power. Just wondering if anyone is using them
Rm H22 Vtec Cams
Rm H22 Vtec Cams
yea, thats where i saw them. Just wondering if they would be worth the cash . I dont want to spend crazy money on cams, I just want to make a bit more power adn these seem to look good.
worth the cash??well they are as cheap as type s cams used if u can find a good deal..cheaper than new type S cams..and they make more power..... so more power for less the money..hmmmmmm i'd say well worth the cash
KTeller.com has a deal on them right now... Don't really want to be the guinea pig on this

because not one person who has used them has actually chimed in to say how they work. Also, they were running these on a motor that had bent valves or other motor damage. This could have possibly been caused by the cams. I don't know.

Our camshafts are ground here in the US by a master cam grinder with 25+ years experience.
Maximum base circle is maintained for a "re-ground" cam for best performance and longevity.
We also supply a high quality dual spring and Ti retainer for increased rpm useage and valvetrain longevity.
The numbers or for the H22 reginds are:
11.8mm Lift with 234 duration at 0.050
11.3mm Lift with 226 duration a5 0.050
on Stock lobe centers at 104.
Primaries are also made a lil hotter for added low end zing
(The at 0.050 duration number is a an industry standard in the US and is the most commonly referred to duration number when talking about cams and comparing relative sizes.)

Where these the same specs on my cams or are they the 11.5mm lift with 240 duration as advertised on KTeller's site?
Btw, for anyone that wants it, here's my review: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1253111
I know somebody is going to get annoyed I'm bumping all these old threads, but screw you, cause I like to keep the people informed.

Another question.
Back in 1997, I bought JG H22A Regrinds. Over a couple of years, those cams became flat.
Will these regrinded cams have the same effect?

anywhere between 150-160 is what a normal h22 makes.
