twin disk clutch question, bolts? check out the pics.
ive been trying to get this project ready for the last 2 years, im sure some of you feel me on that, i have everything it needs motor is assembled, but ran into a problem with the clutch bolts, the space between the pressure plate and flywheel is about an inch thick, here check out the pic,

see on this one^ you can see the difference in space between, it also looks like there should be some type of spacer surrounding the bolt.

here is another pic.
im tryin to find out where i could find the bolts, and spacers if i need them. thanks.
oh and the place mueller went out of business, i cant seem to find a contact number for them, sorry if the pics are big. thanks again.

There should be some kind of spacer that goes between the pressure plate and the flyweel. The spacer will also hold the plates in place as the friction disk spins between them. I'll try to find a picture.
Heres a picture of a exedy twin disk. You should be able to get an idea from it.

You can see the spacer on the clutchmaster twin tisk is actually part of pressure plate. Contact the clutch company and see what they have to say. Hope I helped you out some

Haha I need to read before I start posting. I tried to look up on the company and couldnt come up with anything, wonder why
. What motor is the clutch designed for? Also, i'm not sure if my eyes are playing tricks but does it look like the splines on the clutch disk are two different sizes?

yeah i cant find anyting on the company either, the person i bought it from, said its a tilton clutch, i searched tilton, but couldnt find anything that looked like this. dont know if the clutch is designed for any specific motor, but will be going into a full drag lsvtec motor, with b16 hydro trans. and yes the splines on the clutch disk are different sizes. and was wondering why you asked? thanks.
More then likely its a domestic clutch of some sort. The main shaft in the tranny must slide into the clutch disk and stay in place. It looks like the splines on the disk are way larger then any honda i've seen. Thats definetly not a tilton. I sure hope you didnt pay a lot for it cause you just got scammed.
hahaha. ****. i should have known, let me tell you the story, about 3 years ago, i wanted to build an all motor car, not being on ht then, i searched googles and yahoos, all that stuff, and came up with dave hickman(i know dont even start), now, from what i was told from people, then, said he did this n that just like everyother person that "hears" about dave hickman. so i figured out what i wanted to do, then he said he was building an lsvtec motor, but switching to h22, so i could buy all his stuff from the lsvtec, it was nice stuff, so i thought **** it, he said i could give him a deposit, and he said he could put the hole car together, and have it running, so i went for it, he told me to send him 5 grand, and he would start on it, i went down there, to his house/shop, lol, and he put a built head, along with a tb and pulley on my daily driver, jdm gsr motor, and i saw the progress, and parts, and thought id give it some more time, well, after giving him like 8k bucks, after about a year, i really started worrying about ****, and thought i would take him to small claims, i told him, he said he was almost done, yadayada, 6months later, still nothing, remember this guy has my 8 grand, and i have nothing, couple more months go by, and he called and said he was moving to vegas, i thought oh ****, im not going for that ****, basically he was supposed to be building this hole nhra certified car, slicks, tubed, crazy motor set up, stand alone, fiberglass, lexi, i was supposed to get all this, it was going to be the 8grand i had given him, after about another month, i told him again, i was going to take him to court, we decided on me picking up the parts, for the money i already gave him, and he would come back to my place, and put it together. so i went and picked up all the parts, and car, and came back, knowing he is a huge flake and id never see him again, well, that was actually the good thing, because i was going to pay him more money, after it was done, and running, there were alot of parts there. so i picked them up, and he called, and called now he is chasing me for the rest of his money, hahaha, jerk. shouldnt **** around like that, karma gets you no where. so basically, this is what i ended up with
95 civic vx hb shell, gutted with gsr brakes and momo seat(and a body kit LOL)
2 fully built gsr heads, full pnp, skunk2 valvetrain, titanium retainers
1 built ls bottom, w/ custom 15.1 compression pistons, custom titanium rods, knife edged crank, darton sleeved
web cams vtec killer cams
1 b16 hydro tranny, with 4.78 final drive and welded diff
full stand alone SPEED PRO engine managent, along with msd 7a with every msd option there is, with complete harness and wide band o2
custom an-r header
custom dual throttle body intake manifold, w/ 2 72mm rpm service throttle bodies
1 70 mm rpm service throttle body
that bootsy *** clutch
all swap parts, including axles, mounts, etc.
and alot more stuff i cant think of....
so after everything, i ended up with all that stuff, plus miscallaneous things here and there, and he got my 8 grand. sucked, but now i have to deal with what i got. motor is now assembled, by dnr and dtr, they checked it out, assembled it, dtr said its a nice motor, and that the rods must have cost at least 1000 alone, and now here i am trying to finish up, the mess someone else left me. its been a while now, im over it. i now have all the parts to finish it, (besides the clutch) and hopefully it will be out within the next 2 months, rippin. even though he is a dick, i still like his work, the head i had on my gsr motor made really good power, 183whp stock bottom and stock cams. im just hoping this motor holds as well as the last. and there it is, add me to the I GOT FUCKED BY DHR list, he tore me a new one. but the parts i have, are actually worth more than what i paid, so he fucked himself too. DHR- for-never. lol. ill keep you updated on how it goes, and runs, if it does run. lol.

the splines are the same size that is just the pic. and its funny you say its for a domestic, that pressure plate and clutch line up perfect with the flywheel i have. and its a honda flywheel, not oem but for honda.
Yea it seem like you didnt make out to bad. If the splines on the friction disk is the same as the tranny I think you could make it work since the flywheel is for a honda. All you would need is some kind of spacer to hold it together. Let us know how everything turns out.
you wont find any info on mueller fabrication because old man mueller, the owner, died of a heart attack about 3 years ago and the company shut down. it was a machine shop in his backyard at his house in garden grove.

thats an old clutch setup i had a similar setup 8 yrs ago except mine was a single disc setup, identical to that one you have just only 1 disc , thy use mcleod sintered iron discs and all the spacers are were a piece of round hollow aluminum bar cut to lentgh and long grade 8 bolts. the setup i hade grabbed like hell, worked great.
