Default 1800 miles and counting (dyno inisde)

Went and dynoed today. It was a very nice day. Temps were around 60s-70s.

I had a boost spike problem. My boost would go to 10.5psi and hold.

My car did.
443.5hp SAE corrected
276.7tq SAE corrected
11.5:1 a/f ratio
Timing was pretty low also.

We couldnt really tune for more power due to the crazy spike we were getting. The wastegate would hold 6psi perfect until vtec came on, then it would spike 3psi up and continue and hold at 10.5psi. Stock map sensor was plugged in also.
REMEMBER 6psi spring, so the wastegate would open, but when vtec came on it couldnt hold the exhaust gas..

Here is a video. Will scan plot soon.

postive, datalog read only 10.5 and i had a stock map sensor plugged in, so it couldnt go over 11psi.

Timing was low, 7psi at 18degrees timing..

Map sensor. not fuel map. And ive went 12psi on them already.

Can you post the datalogs? I would like to see the whole **** and shanbang. Sounds like awesome numbers though. Also please post the dyno sheets.

Also you cant really say it spiked , becuase it held boost. I bet it will stay that way . My 40mm was always a few psi higher then the spring.

my tuner would have to post the datalogs.

Stock map, so the car wouldn't have run over 11 psi

I asked becuase i have read over 11psi on a stock map

that big jump aslo has to do with the tuner not setting the vtec to the correct spot to even out the curve.

I would trust the defi gauge over the hondalogger. The stock map sensor won't see any boost over its voltage scaling.

I've seen this happen alot. You could set boost cut at 11psi(end of the stock map's scaling) and then hit 14-15psi w/ out boost cut kicking in cause the map sensors voltage maxed out before what the ecu looks for to engage boost cut. Hondalogger will only say like 10psi.
