This was my FIRST tubular manifold. Dates back to sometime in 02, Id say late November. I think that was the first top-mount Honda manifold that I had seen
No more pictures will be shown because this one is just ***-nasty, and was built before I figured out how to make collectors.

Lisa Kubo had the first top mount manifold i've seen on a honda. Very similar to the ones pictured and still made today, but hers was back when she was running the orange civic.
Yep i remember kubos... that thing inspired me a long time ago... I dont want to get introuble for not being a sponsor but the selling price is in the 750-800 range.

I'm pumped. That mani/turbo are mine and thanks to excessive for fabbing it up. Has raised the bar another notch, especially when you ask him to make you something and he surprisees you with something like that.
Once I get the manifold and turbo back from him I'll post some fitment pictures to show you guys how top notch it is. It will be pretty killer w/ the intercooler setup I am going to be running this year. IC piping length is going to be cut down by quite a few feet from what I was running last year with my 60-1 and sfp manifold.

It looks like you welded the runner after you had it tacked to the head and turbo flange? If so, try welding the runner separately before welding them to the collector and head flange. that ways its easy to reach. Welding is all about position/comfort/torch time. Try to tack it securely in 4 places opposite from each other berfore you weld them out so no warpage occurs. Make sure if you do it that way to cut the head flange and have the turbo flange decked unless you have a belt sander to deck it on. I'm pretty sure you knew this info but every little bit helps...
Other than that, Looks great. Like the design. Should look tities w/a 4inch downpipe blingin'(
) under there!
