vafc2
d16z6's CAI, i reused for my gsr...small as hell, i think the diameter is most 2"
header duplication of type r with slightly smaller exhaust runner 4-1 with 2.0" collector, but then i custome the header's collector. I cutted it off, and make it longer and increase the collector diameter to 2.5"
Exhaust piping is mandrel bending 2.5, with stock path...
Blox Manifold
Dynoing with catless..

that's it i guess

Was there a wideband O2 used? If so, is there an A/F graph for each chart?

the motor is 96 sedan GSR-4drs...mileage was unknow (i was guessing about 130k miles) but decided to rebuild it to stock to be safe...after rebuild the motor is current at 4.5k miles

sorry i was decided to get windband 02 before dyno..but budget shortage..so . But by some sympton, i noticed my car is running little rich...after dyno im not sure. One good thing is..i think i got a better mileage out of 91octane Shell's gas

oh better..what about some spike of the tq's curve...? anyone got any idea?

are those spikes on the tq curve of the 16th run from approximate 3.5k rpm to 4.8k rpm are normal?

and some spike on the 16th run of actual hp from 7k to 8k rpm are normal too? they look irritating to me

I wouldn't worry about the 1st baseline run and it's "spikes". Most of those were smoothed out by the 16th run anyway so it's not relevent anymore. But I'd say those 1st run spikes are fairly normal with no tuning yet.

The spikes at the end of the 16th run at the higher rpm's are minimal so I wouldn't worry about them. Don't get caught up too much with graphs. You got very nice numbers and good increases throughout the midrange and up.

some say because of my D16z6 CAI (about 2.5") has a slightly smaller diameter throughout its piping, and because of CAI is usually stroking the motor in topend. Some also talking about the Knock sensor is also a cause, however, i do not know why.

Cjohson, the left graph was uncorrected graph, and the righ graph was corrected by dyno tune.

Did he use any other VTEC points? also do you have any future plans for ecu to take better effect of the single runner maniifold?

ahh im sure he did but best was at 4800rpm for mine. for sure i will go with hondata s200 with either my p72 or p28 chipped. Haven't decided for sure on which one, since i do not have a good background on p72 vs p28 with hondata tuning. So i will need to read up more about 2ndary butterfly that causes the curve to flatten out little bit 5.3k rpm or 5.4k rpm.

since my motor seems healthy to some of the viewers, so i will take the advantage of that and the next step i think i will go for camshafts and camgears with some FPR wiht hontada s200 with my stock p72.

sound good to anyone?
