Im lookin for aftermarket LCAs for my 89 HB. FourthgenhatchB17 and I have been pondering which ones are the same lenghts and which ones will work, and I just decided to ask on hurr. Since some sites list thier LCAs as 89-00 Civic And others just DC2/EG and EKs by themselves???
So What other chassis LCAs are compatible w/ 89-91 HBs??
Any info. is appreciated. TIA

i believe the LCAs on the DC, EG, and EK are all the same. But i'm not sure and could be totally wrong. I remember reading that someone thought it was funny to tell people that the LCA's on a CRX are the same ones that are on a 98 Integra TypeR. Maybe it was in the "You Might be an EF'er if..." thread.
Reguardless, I think they're the same.

88 is different then 89-91, but the same as ITR
Anyways I already checked thier website, Fourthgen bought those LCAs . I want SRRs for my 89 hatch and they only got them for eg/dc2 and ek....Why no EF!?
So after searching on many websites applications for thier aftermarket LCAs, I might be safe to say that EK is different then the rest by looking at SRRs and JHPUSAs LCAs . But then u look at the Function 7 site...
"Function7 Lower Control Arms
for 89-00 Honda Civics and 94-01 Acura Integras"
So im lost

I already found all that info on the function7 products. They DO list them in a way that would make one believe that they are all the same, but are they? I mean, is the only difference in sway bar mounting points? Arent some LCA's 1/16" longer than other arms (i found this info in my search)?
And to basically re-state what japjunkie already said....Why do some other companie's LCA's have specific applications, when function7 says basically 1 arm for all?

Reguardless, I think they're the same.</TD></TR></TABLE> the rear LCAs on a 88 CRX are the same style as a Type-R although I'm not sure if they are the same length.. but you can use Type-R rear suspension on a 88 CRX but they would be longer overall

Someone on here has to have them and chime in.
Good luck, hope you find out!

I just finished up bolting in my new Function7 LCA's on my 89 hatchback. They were a PERFECT fit and no problems w/ installation whatsoever. I havent test driven the car yet but i will check back when i do so.

Where they the shock fork style? or crx/typeR style. I might use this as a replacement option when its suspension change time... I KNOW I have frozen bolts and bushings back there
if you don't mind... what did they run you? ($$)

I will have a pic up tomorrow if i remember to take one. I test drove the car and it didnt mess with my alignment at all (which i thought they may have). Everything feels good, no unusual noises are stuff like that. I did have ES bushings in the stock LCA's already so my ride was already nice. I paid 210 shipped off their ebay store.
And i used the fork style shocks (89-91).
