Default Airbags

My nephew has a 4dr I believe 1996 civic. He had a little problem the other day and had to avoid a tire in the road. When he did, he hit the curb and set off his airbags. Now the car will not start. Does the SRS system have an ingnition kill switch? And if so, does anyone know how to reset this so that he can drive it while he comes up with the funds to replace the airbags?

Thanks

Thanks, I must have missed that one in the search!

I have searched the threads and cannot find anything that states that the deployed airbags will keep the car from starting. Anyone know if this is the case, or could there be another problem?
