I am startingt o find interest in the hatches you guys drive. Especially the white one's w/black rims, and vice versa. What is the most common engine swap for this car? And what engine's can go in? here is what I'm thinking can work.

h22a
GSR
si
type r

also, the 1/4 times?

i would say that the most common are the B16A, and the B18C-1

all will fit...H22 being the hardest...most common would be a GSR motor B18c1
if you can afford it...you can get a type R B18c5, if you can't consider a SI B16a, or LS B18b.

cheers!

the gsr (b18c1), the new si (b16a(3?)) and the type R(teg type r and civic type R)(b18c5 and b16b) all drop right in (i think) the h22 is out of a prelude and it takes a lot more work 2 put in, is a lot heavier and will not let you keep ps or ac. Also the type Rs are much more expensive as is the h22. Also, which hatch are you looking at?

i would think that the b16 (si motor) would be the most common swap because its the cheapest and easiest

Thanks guys! Ya, I figured it was ther GSR/SI motor. Ya, if I did end up doing hybrid, I could not afford a Type-R engine. GSR seems nice. Thanks again
