Default itr gauge cluster swap in a DA

finally, after a couple days of frustration, it's almost done. now all i have to do is wire the electronic VSS.

^^^ some wiring info that i found was wrong, so i went ahead and made my own. that's why it was such a headache. people wrote the wrong wiring diagram and they didn't work for me.

That is sweet man. I have been trying to find out how to wire this correctly because I was interested in diong this. How was the fit? Did you have to trim anything? A write up would be nice.

it fits in there without trimming the cluster or your dash, but you have to mold the bezel to the itr cluster shape with fiber glass or bondo which i will be doing once the VSS is wired up.

How much customizing was involved to get the cluster to fit right back there? I had seen a write up a while back on G2IC, the one guy who did it there said there was a lot of bondo work involved. Would you agree with that?

I need to do the same thing? What engine do you have? I have a B18CR with the stock GSR guage I was wondering when you shifted on the stock tach.

i have the same engine as you do, but it's a 97 spec.
