I got my 95 Integra less than a month ago and the headlights are in very bad shape. They hold water constantly, enough water to wear I can see it at the bottom of the lights. They also have some nasty looking stuff inside, its cover the lens to the point you cannot see through some parts of the plastic. Im intersted in taking them apart, cleaning them up, and resealing them. I took them out of the car this past weekend and just tried to soak them and was able to clean them up some. But in order to get them as clean as I would like Im going to have to take them apart. I tried somewhat to take them apart, but stopped for fear of breaing them. I was hoping someone on here has done it and would like to share how they did it with me so that I can minimize the damage to mine. Thanks for any help you can give.

Oh and I searched but there is not much info on this site for headlights.

 

I have a set of 96 headlights that would work on your car, great shape. I was going to take them apart and make some angel eyes on them but never got the time and they are just sitting there. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks.

 

it's just a matter of putting them in the oven for a short peroid of time to loosen the glue. Give me a few min, and I think I can find the right writeup.

 

Im somewhat interested, I was hoping to remedy this problem for free. However, if they are in great shae like you say I may be interested. Do you know if they leak? Have any cracks in the plastic? Broken brackets? Lenses in good shape? Asking price?
