Features 5 way adjustable damping, hard rubber bushings, increased spring rates.

Set has 30k miles on it, but is as good as the day I put them on, new. I've had these set at 2f/ 3r and have not had to play with the settings other than intial break in. Installation is a breeze as these are fully assembled and all that is required is that you remove your stock dampers and replace with these. All required brackets and mounts come already attached. They are ready to plug and play. Comes with original boxes and instructions in Japanese. Absolutely nothing wrong... returning my car to stock for future sale.

It dropped the R by about an inch. Fender lip height was at about 24 1/2".

Sorry, I knew the spring rates before but I can't find them, now. Post up in the R forum... they would know for sure. 450f/300r sounds familiar, though I can't be sure on that. These worked really well with the Mugen 26mm rear sway bar I had on the car.

Shipping from Hawaii I take it? How long does that usually take?

If that is right for the spring rates they would be 8K Front/5K Rear??? Sounds a little low but I could be wrong.... Anyone else know for sure?

Spring Rates – Stock
Front – 246 lb /in
Rear – 140 ~246 lbs/in

Stock rates converted to kg/mm
Front – 4.4 kg/mm
Rear – 2.5 ~ 4.4 kg/mm


1 kg = 2.20462 lbs
1 mm = 0.0393701 inchs
conversion factor = 55.997317

I've been tracking the lowdowns with the rear 26mm bar for a few years now and I think it's a great street/track setup. Unless you club race your R competitively, this is a great suspension for hpde's.

i know marc, i'm soo dang jealous of kelly's 993! i love those cars...though the 996 may be faster, there's something about the last air-cooled 911's.

Search for Mugen Lowdowns and there is a big, long post of pictures of TYpe R's with the suspension...........
