Default ABS light

The ABS light in my girlfriend's 1995 Accord EX Manual comes on sometimes for seemingly no reason, then won't be on again the next time the car is driven. I was testing the ABS today in the snow, and it worked great. After I slammed on the brakes twice with ABS, the light came on and the ABS was disengaged. Does anybody know what could be causing this?

This may not be helpful but one time (@ bandcamp) I was installing a stereo and when I was all done I noticed the ABS light came on..now that I think of it may have been the SRS light. Im sorry...

Gotta read the ABS error code. There's a sticky thread at the top of the Integra forum (ECU & ABS codes or something like that). It should be sorta the same, but the location of the wire you need to jumper is different. Behind the glovebox instead of the kickpanel??

I have seen cases where the ABS ring on the actual CV joint gets a chip or nick.....at certain speeds the sensor gets confused and throws the light. In my case, I removed my passenger axle and a parts shop popped on a new ring for free cause I give them business! Threw it in and no more ABS light.

This is just a possibility for you to explore.
