Default Wired speedlab "ricky" bad service

Ok I ordered Fuel pump, injectors and a tial wastegate from them on the friday before thanksgiving and still have not recived any of my stuff. I was told that it would be shipped out like 5 times but it hasnt even gone out yet. So far everything that I ordered from other companies further away and at the same time or after I ordered from Ricky, have came in the mail so far. I just want to get my GT35r up and running but cant without those products. Finally after the 10th time I called since that friday I ordered, Ricky said my order would go out today with UPS at 3pm and send me a tracking number but never got it. I am pissed off and this is stupid....Flame if you want, but warning you if you dont want your parts right away, order from them.

It was a toss up for me. Ordered a buch of stuff from them about a year ago. Got everything quickly and orderly. Then ordered some more stuff during this summer. Didn't have as good of an experience. My guess is that they are getting more business and that leads to them being more busy.

Back in the day, I ordered a AEM EMS and AEM UEGO WB and they told me they had both in stock and would send me it to me (with tracking #, which never happened) and I would see it in 5 days. I called 5 times and they told me that they sent it out 3 different times (obvious they lied to me) and it took 1 month to get my AEM EMS... There customer service is extremely poor... there's another thread on a "peak boost turbo kit" and the guy hasn't got his kit and it's been awhile for him too!

Never did business with them again!!!

I hate to say it, but you're right. Ricky screwed up my order a while back (got the wrong part, no big deal), and wouldn't return my e-mails. Maybe he was overwhelmed with orders or something, I don't know. A return shipping label was supposed to be sent to me, but wasn't. Finally, I just called Kyle and he had a return label e-mailed to me. Kyle has always taken the time to talk to me on the phone, but maybe things have changed lately. This took quite a while to get resolved, though.

buck02 is right about the prices going up. Their sales aren't really sales anymore.

Maybe they're just taking on more than they can handle? I've seen them advertise on other forums, too. So, they're pretty busy, and it would be tough to turn business away. What do you do if your in their situation? Tell the truth, or take the money and hope the parts come in before the customer gets pissed off?

I've had a couple of bad experiences with them, but in the end it all worked out... it just took some time.

I ordered a fuel pump about a year ago and told them I needed it two weeks later... It never showed up. I called them and got my money refunded.

They sent me the wrong clutch recently (action 2ks), I ordered it for a 92 integra, but they sent me the one for the 94+ integra. Well the only difference was the throwout bearing, so I bought one from the local dealer and they sent me a check to cover the cost....

I'd order from them again

GT35R - E-mail me (kyle@wiredspeed.com) your name and I will personally figure out your order tomorrow morning. My guess is your order shipped out today and we just didn't get you the tracking number. If it hasn't shipped, I'll get it out overnight. I apologize if Ricky let you down, I'll talk to him tomorrow about it.

We process between 20-45 orders a day, so some are bound to be delayed or fulfilled incorrectly somewhere along the way. We try our best to avoid this (for the most part do); however mistakes do happen and we have to deal with them.

This is why Wired Speedlab is the only company on HT (and in the industry that I know of) to offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on EVERY product we sell. We stand behind our products, service and word.

Eric and I are always available to help with any issues or questions, just ask whoever you are on the phone with to transfer you.

Kyle

do any of you actually understand how there shipping process? alot of there stuff is shipped directly from the manufacturer...so if something isnt shipped on time its probaly a complication with an address or billing info in transition from there site to the shipper. I had a struggle with my drag kit...but they were all very helpful, and understanding.

If you have a problem with your order, stand up and deal with it...dont post on h-t because you dont know what to do. call them and discuss the situation until it gets resolved and dont hang up unless you have a solution.

they have what...three employees, and look at the size of their distribution. sure they could hire a full staff...but then they wouldnt be able to offer cheap prices.

Yes I understand...But they keep saying they will ship it out and dont so they lie? is that better for you? also please dont be a smart *** and ask us if we know the process of shipping. Also, ricky told me he had everything in stock. so for you trying to be smart ***.

Oh jeez this sounds familar...
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=995537

I used to be a very loyal customer of Kyle back when it was KS-motorsports. But their competence level took a dive when they became wired speed dumbasses. They cant even ship out the right item when you give them the exact part number, and then would take them 2 or 3 weeks to ship it when it was "in stock" and you paid for overnight....
