It was bought at a domestic shop with a gift certificate jockobo won in an import shootout. That's the only part he thought was useful at the time he was at the shop, lol.

Yeah, good old Saab intercooler that fits pretty crappy and we had to cut some peices from the front just to fit it.

Thanks again for the wastegate, it's getting a good workout. Holds at 15psi pretty well.

just redrill the holes or expand them. its real easy to do. how does the bov sound on the hot side as opposed to the cold side of the charge pipe?

It took me 5 hours one afternoon to redrill the bolt holes. I just placed the B-series gasket onto the D-series manifold and lined up the ports as good as I could. Then the drilling commenced. Air drills suck when you only have a 15 gallon air tank.

There's not much of a difference with the BOV sound. It's actually quieter now because it's tucked away inside the front bumper.

Sorry Cyberdx16, I thought you were referring to the HX manifold when you said junkyard.

It's a B-series manifold. It came off of a GSR at the junkyard. I just don't know what brand it is. I know it's not a Rev Hard like some people have said, because the wastegate placement is different.

This is my kind of setup. I am poor so I have to work with what I got. Looks arent everthing. My buddy built a D15 with VX pistons, a t25 turbo, Eclipse bov and intercooler, added 4 more injectors, and some other stuff. He had like $500 invested and that was including the price of the motor. Piping was just like this car. We took it to Budds Creek and ran a 12.98 @ 20psi. YES...20psi. The car would have ran better but I blew a vaccum line at half track. After we made that pass everybody swamped us at the pits to see what was under the hood. It caught everyone by suprise when they saw this ugly little motor and pipes running everywhere. It was awesome...LOL.

Its funny because I am actually working on an 88 CRX with basically the same setup that you have. I have the same turbo too. Its off of a Volvo and I too had to weld and grind the side that mates to the manifold...LOL! Too funny.

Good job! Keep it up.

Thanks man. Next time we'll run is when the temperature stays above 50 degrees. The colder it got out there, the crappier the traction was.

Give me a call this Thursday and I'll try to get your car sorted out for you.
