Default **Need Help ( PICS INSIDE )**

I have an 88 CRX DX, with these enkei wheels that were on the car when I bought it. I had to get a new tire and when they took off the wheel they said that the spacer was broken and i needed a new one. but i think I need a new adapter maybe? Im not really sure heres some pics to help explain

^----Thats the wheel

^----Thats the part that I think is broken now that could be an adapter of some sort or it could be part of the spacer and it just rusted off and stuck to the wheel in that case I would need a new spacer.

^----Thats the front brake I think it may have a spcer on it but im not sure can any of you tell or not. Im not as familiar with my CRX as I am with the R so I dont know if that is what the brakes looked like stock or not.

Cliff Notes; Where is a good place to buy the spacer or adapter Im looking for?

also camera phones rock!!!!111!!!

the black part in that is in the wheel is the spacer. More commonly know as a hubcentric ring. it didn't come off the hub of the car, it came with the wheels.

the purpose of it is to carry the weight of the car from the wheel to the hub. Stock rims don't have it because they are made to fit the hub while custom rims are made to universal. if its broken or missing replace it right away. studs can break off if its missing, believe me ive seen it happen.

you can call enkie and order a new set.

Thats a hubcentric ring. You can find them on ebay for cheap ( maybe $15 for all 4). All it basically does is center your wheel so when you bolt it down its spins perfectly round.

Yeah. I've never had these, and have never had a problem.

I have rota slips, and am using an aftermarket lug nut that centers the wheel on the studs. If you torque them down properly, they should be fine.
