Default My next MOd

I have the following mods--now i know there not the best ie;comptech exhaust had since 1998 dealer installed and comptech header, aem intake, aem gears on stock cams,V-afc,fuel presure regulator. I know there are alot better parts on the market now since the time i bought mine,,, but im really looking for something new...dont really want to replace anything existing. What i had in mind and have come close to purchasing twice is either a jun 2 intake cam,or toda spec B's...any ideas on what i might be happy w/

Both cam setups will require exhaust modification from what you have now...

...that is, if you want to gain the most for your money.

.....well I have a slightly different POV:

I'd say go with the spec b's, simply because I have them and am very happy with them. Lots of us here can give you feedback on what to try in tuning them...

You have a decent header (according to that big test), and exhaust, so I'd be expecting ~185whp+ and lots of midrange with your current setup and some decent cams... Comptech catback is 60mm piping, correct? I dunno, but it's got to be better than stock and I'm getting 185 out of b's and stock catback... I'd say go with cams, valve springs, Ti retainers, and vafc next... Of course I like the b's too though so my opinion isn't that objective...

remember...the test was done with STOCK cams!

unless the R is quite strong, seeing 185whp with that setup will be difficult...

I have the same set up as you but instead, I have Field VTEC controller and ran 14.3@ 97.3MPH and thats with shitty reaction time(.985) and stock wheels. I installed Spec Killa B's recently and I feel I can break into the 13's with no problem if I get the car tuned. Bean
