calling everying that has a z10 block girdle

z 10 says that no modificaltion is nessary for this girdle
but stock there are dowels
did you guys just bolt the girdle on or did you machine the girdle and the main caps to accept the dowels and are the dowels really nessary

Never installed one but looking at the pictures of it I would say the dowells are unnecessary.

Someone who has installed it please verify for him though.

Z10 sells there girdles in all diff configurations..

LS/B20/B16 no dowels

LS/B20/B16 with dowels

GSR / Type R

and even a girdle for a stroker crank.
